Each course of study active in the Department of Law is governed by a Course Council, which has the task of collaborating with the Department in the organisation and coordination of teaching activities. In particular, it is the responsibility of the Course Council to: a) express opinions and make proposals on any matter pertaining to the course of study, including the allocation of tenure positions, the activation and coverage of courses falling within the remit of the course of study; b) examine and approve students' study plans, as well as recognise course credits; c) make proposals for organising the tutoring service; d) adopt any other resolution provided for by law, the statute and university regulations.
Joint meetings of the Boards. If deemed appropriate, in order to coordinate the performance of their respective functions, joint meetings of the Department Council and the Course Councils may be convened at the same time as the Department Director and the Coordinators. The Chairmanship of the joint meeting is assigned to the Department Director.
