For some time now, the so-called Third Mission, which has now acquired full institutional recognition for the purposes of university assessment, has been given prominence in the Department, also in view of the provision of the SUA-Third Mission, within the SUA-RD (Single Annual Departmental Research Report).
The Third Mission, which consists in opening up to the socio-economic context through the enhancement, transfer and dissemination of knowledge, complements the traditional training and research objectives of universities, and the Department of Law devotes particular attention to it, promoting activities aimed at increasing interaction with society in order to foster social, cultural and economic development.
